We organising a film and arts festival in Amsterdam, we also do organise related events else where in The Netherlands. Our website address is: http://queer.red. We do and love to collaborate with other organisations.
what personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you share your data with us, for instance when you opt in to receive future newsletters or when you submit your movie or any other kind of art work to be evaluated to be screened or shown in our festival or other screenings, exhibitions and the likes, we do process your personal data, like your email address, financial details like your bank account number, your name and or pseudonyms etc, solely for the purpose of these activities for which your shared your personal data with us in the first place.

We may share data with others, like other film festivals, sex worker organisations etc etc for example, about movies or persons who could be of interest for these festivals or other arts activities. We will ask you to opt in for this sharing of your personal data, otherwise we will not share your data with anyone
how long we retain your data
We keep these data only as long as necessary for these activities or when you opted in until you opt out or after a year when we stop these activities. As soon as we start our activities, we can and will be more specific on this page. You can always ask about your data by sending us an email to privacy@queer.red.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. how we protect your data
As soon as we start processing (your) personal data we will keep these files to our selves. We do use Google Docs and Google Drive, which is considerd to be a privacy risk by many experts. We are working on mitigation of this risk and will inform you on this privacy policy page. Being a small organisation is no excuse to not keep your data safe.

We will comply with the GDPR in case of a data breach and we will inform all stakeholders including all persons whose data is part of the breach and all other persons of whom we keep data and have contact information on our administration.

We never will use automated decision making.
