It reflects on shame\, guilt and the experience of queerness in a conservative\, Catholic setting as well as on the concepts of migration and re-rooting. The author speculates whether it’s possible to fully accept one’s fate. \n\n\n\nThis film deals with topics like terminal disease\, disability and suicide. \n\n\n\nNot in Love (Pas Amoureux)  \n\n\n\nEugénie Bouquet | Switzerland | 2022 | 4 min | French with English subs \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nTwo people are sitting on a bench in the Parc des Bastions in Geneva. However\, the documentary also highlights their achievements and the resilience they demonstrate in facing these challenges. It shows how they find support in supportive communities and support networks\, and how they fight for their rights and dignity in an often hostile environment. \n\n\n\nSugarAlyssa Brayboy | USA | 2023 | 6 min | English  \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nWe follow Banner on his search for a sex worker. He stumbles across Alora\, who is usually up for anything\, but she quickly learns Banner isn’t a typical client. \n\n\n\nToomas Beneath the Valley of the Wild Wolves \n\n\n\nChintis Lundgren | Estonia\, Croatia\, France | 2019 | 18 min | English \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nAfter losing a well paid engineering job\, Toomas\, a young hot wolf\, gets cornered into working as a gigolo to support his family. She’s a retired stripper and aspiring indie smut maker. Her work takes inspiration from her lived experiences\, but it is essentially romantic fantasies. \n\n\n\n\n\nArchivo Puta by Maria Riot (2024) \n\n\n\nA multidisciplinary project that seeks to create archives of the present and search for archives of the past of sex workers\, as well as recover memory\, make visible the beauty and resistance of the collective. \n\n\n\nPresentation by the artist on Sunday 30 March 13:00-15:00 | Location: Etage | Entrance: donation-based \n\n\n\n\nMaría Riot (1991) Sex worker for over a decade\, sex worker right’s activist\, member of AMMAR\, the Sex Worker Union of Argentina\, Intimacy Coordinator for Adult Films and Artist. Born in the Province of Buenos Aires\, Argentina. Based in Barcelona\, Spain. Author of the photography project Archivo Puta. Curator at Porn Film Festivals and co Organiser of “Putas en Pantalla” (Whores on Films)\, a selection of short and long films about sex work\, screened at Excentrico Fest (Chile)\, Zumzeig Cinema (Spain) and Post P_rn Arts Fest Warsaw (Poland). Has given talks\, interviews and written about sex work politics all over the world. \n\n\n\n\nStep by Step Anal Guide by Miammy (2025\, Greece) \n\n\n\nAn eight page book for straight men who are ready to broaden their horizons of pleasure by trying anal. \n\n\n\nPatriarchy is an oppressive system not only for women but for men too. After realizing that\, how do you escape? Let’s embrace vulnerability and discover new dimensions of pleasure through your body. The notion that traditional masculinity\, with its prohibitions against emotional openness and bodily exploration\, limits the pleasure in your everyday life. I believe that men urgently need to embrace vulnerability and this must extend to sex and pleasure. Why miss this type of pleasure? Break free from the cage of gender norms\, by allowing yourself to experience pleasure. In this way\, you can challenge societal taboos and reclaim your body. This change is not only physical but also societal. You can see it as a heroic action for the world and dismantle this regressive and hurtful legacy with a simple pegging. \n\n\n\n\nMiammy grew up in Greece\, studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts and Gerrit Rietveld Academie during an Erasmus exchange in Amsterdam. She loves interdisciplinary collaboration\, having participated in the transcultural program at Zürich University of the Arts and as a member of the Sinodi Papu Collective. Passionate about exploring people and cultures by traveling the world and Digital space.

SUMMARY:sex worker film & art festival | 28-30 march
DESCRIPTION:Welcome back to the second edition of queer.red presents! Whorehouse Cinema & Cabaret! \n\n\n\nqueer.red presents! proudly returns for a second and amplified edition of our film and arts festival that celebrates the art of sex workers! This year\, our programme focuses on queer and trans sex workers (as always)  and now with a much needed cabaret!  \n\n\n\nIn 2020 queer.red emerged with a manifesto to destigmatize how sex work is discussed and encourage expanding the rights and autonomy of sex workers. Since then\, we have organised 25+ events and collaborated internationally with festivals in Korea\, Austria\, Ireland\, and Belgium as well as in the Netherlands. Throughout our journey\, we’ve upheld our mission to direct resources to sex workers and support their creation of art\, to center the voice of sex workers\, and seek out their stories.  \n\n\n\nThis second edition of the festival offers an archive of photography\, an art exhibition\, workshops by and for sex workers\, a sharp selection of films and shorts\, as well as a cabaret that includes performers from throughout the Netherlands and France. Filmmakers will be traveling across the globe to present their work and for many it is the first time they are being compensated with a participation fee.  \n\n\n\nWe are also taking this opportunity to reaffirm our collaboration with sex worker-led organisations like Papaya Kuir and SAVE as well as other community-led festivals like SNAP! and Porn Film Festival Amsterdam.  \n\n\n\nDuring the festival\, we want those who are mostly impacted by injustice\, capitalism\, racism\, homo- and transphobia\, to be able to participate in our festival. Therefore some programmes will be sex worker-only\, donation-based\, or on a sliding scale. Our aim for this year is to make sure that 85% or more of the total budget goes directly to sex worker artists and volunteers.  \n\n\n\nThis event is by the community\, for the community. You are invited to join in on it’s diversity\, creativity and audacity. \n\n\n\nSee you at the Whorehouse!   \n\n\n\nThe queer.red team & board \n\n\n\nAlexis\, Aline\, Angel\, Domi\, Majk and Plette

Grappling with their DID diagnosis while attempting to survive capitalism\, we meet a range of “alters” (alternate personalities) representing the various emotional states of Mai\, the “system host.” Featuring a tour-de-force performance by Mai\, Thriving is directed by Nicole Bazuin (Modern Whore\, SXSW 2020)\, and co-written/co-produced by Mai and Bazuin\, alongside sex worker advocate and author Andrea Werhun. This visually striking film lensed by Ashley Iris Gill is complete with lush animations by Society of Illustrators triple-gold-medallist Dylan Glynn. Thriving was created with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council.Nicole Bazuin (director) is a Toronto film director and interdisciplinary artist. In the middle of the rubble\, two beings find each other and unite again. Together\, they choose to share a moment of affection\, to suspend time and defy the surrounding chaos. Let yourself be carried away by this suspended moment\, where hope seems possible again. \n\n\n\nThis show contains bondage and BDSM scenes\, as well as siren audios. \n\n\n\nMore about the performers\nCyanhur @cyanhur (they/them) is an artist and SW passionate about shibari. For them ropes go far beyond a simple practice: they weave physical and emotional connections\, nourishing a unique artistic universe. By merging their love of ropes with creativity\, they explore and share this art through photos and videos. \n\n\n\nMessy Anni @messy_anni (she/her) is a shibari switch and occasional SW. She started shibari in Greece and has practiced this art with different partners in various countries since then. She enjoys how ropes can facilitate communication and trust building between people\, as well as the power exchange it creates. She sees ropes as a tool that can be used for different purposes and intentions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nfilm programme (feature)\, whorehouse cinema

SUMMARY:queer.red presents... the body politique: sex worker manifestos
DESCRIPTION:queer.red presents! the body politique: sex worker manifestos \n\n\n\nTotal duration 50 minutes + q&a with Deep and Cheap\, LaMetro\, & Goddess Coco from Door2Door Rotterdam \n\n\n\nOur queer identities – genders and sexualities – place queer sex workers at an intersection where the state (the so called politic) both politicizes and fetishizes our bodies. This collection of shorts represents the heart of what queer.red’s sex worker film and art festival aims to do: create a space where queer sex workers hold the camera and the microphone. This Queer & Pride we invite you to enjoy the beauty of the art of film and engage with the personal as political. A panel will follow with sex workers to discuss current politics in their contexts. \n\n\n\nTickets available at Lab 111 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFuck you\, Pay Me! (Mercy St. James\, NL\, 2024\, 8’\, English) \n\n\n\nTwo Amsterdam window workers are rudely interrupted by the ugliest sight imaginable\, The Mayor’s Erotic Prison: a building where the evil city government wants to lock away sex \n\n\n\nworkers for good! Luckily their domme friend knows the perfect solution: just sit on it! Fuck You\, Pay Me! is the ultimate form of the body(and butts\, specifically) as a powerful tool of resistance against the oppression of sex workers everywhere! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Whoresurrection (Beau\, NL\, 2024\, 9’\, English) \n\n\n\nLilith\, the original femme outcast and whoremother is resurrected after a particularly whore-y ritualist makes a sacrifice. Cinematic and breathtaking\, the Whoresurrection is both a poem and prayer to protect and bring prosperity to all sex workers – past\, present and future. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIrresistible (Barbora Kleinhamplová & Miss Velvet\, Mex\, 2021\, 20’\, English) \n\n\n\nRelationships in BDSM are centered around the issue of consent. The dominant and the submissive both have to agree beforehand on what their roles are going to entail. In role play\, the actors follow a specific scenario based on the fantasies they wish to fulfill. Together they work to bring their yearnings to life\, although there’s also another\, lingering question: do these short-lived escapes from everyday reality have an impact on the actors’ actions after the role play ends? Can the play influence how the „slaves“ approach women and members of minorities afterwards in their daily lives? Story of Mistress Velvet introduces us to BDSM as a sphere of subversion through which an individual can bring about a broader societal change. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSkunk Manifesto (LaMetro and Lomo Maniás\, Spain\, 2022\, 6’\, Spanish with English subs) \n\n\n\nIs it through celebration and community that we can value our resilience? By placing the importance of affection and community at the center\, celebrating the third birthday of being a sex worker becomes one more venue in the process of seeking to end the stigma\, trauma\, shame and fear that surround this job. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIndélébile/Graffiti Politique (Deep and Cheap Media & Equipe Ephemerem\, France\, 2021\, 7’\, French with English subs) \n\n\n\nParis\, 2020\, in the midst of the pandemic\, a social movement is raging. A feminist graffiti activist group prepares an action for the respect of whores.

SUMMARY:a queered gaze: trans sex worker porn
DESCRIPTION:TranScreen has invited queer.red back to present another trans sex worker porn shorts programme as a part of their TranScreen Rewind\, along with some of their best films from the last 10 years. \n\n\n\nqueer.red’s selection is HOT! Join us to queer your gaze and enjoy trans pleasure. \n\n\n\nTickets €8.50 (€0 with Cineville) via Kriterion \n\n\n\nWhat happens when a queer sex worker collective is invited to curate a collection of porn shorts created by trans and non-binary sex workers? We invite you to come explore your ideas about porn\, the sex work industry and body norms. A q&a will follow after the screening with some of the filmmakers from the NL-produced films. These were part of the Down & Dirty DIY workshop that was held with a group of Dutch-based sex workers who came together over a month-long workshop to produce queer porn. Their works premiered during a sold-out screening at the Porn Film Festival Amsterdam last February. This whore-y fantasy was dreamed up by queer sex workers Mercy and Vivi and was sponsored by queer.red; a Dutch-based group of (former) sex workers\, feminists\, queer and trans people who organise events on the topic of sex work with the aim to destigmatise sex work through more nuanced and diverse representations.  \n\n\n\nTotal Duration: 72 mins \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBabygurl’s Big Birthday Bang (Mahx Capacity\, 2022\, USA\, 13’\, English) \n\n\n\nManon Praline is turning 40 and for her birthday\, her sweet and sadistic Leather Family planned a very special celebration. Seven eager tops await their precious babygurl–eager to devour her like cake with their hands\, mouths\, tools\, and toys. A steamy makeout ends with Bishop’s legs up in the air\, and Mahx can’t help but feast on this gorgeous slut. Bishop slides down on Mahx’s strap\, riding their daddy before dutifully returning the favor. Taking turns sucking\, licking\, riding\, and cumming all over each other\, Mahx and Bishop make switching absolutely indulgent. \n\n\n\n\nTransit (Jiz Lee & Vanniall\, 2023\, USA\, 5’\, English) \n\n\n\nHotel guests discover a room for two. \n\n\n\n\nMistress\, I’m Hungry (Mercy St. James\, NL\, 2024\, 9’\, English) \n\n\n\nDiscover queer\, sex worker joy through the senses sight\, sound and\, most importantly\, taste. SUMMARY:queer.red presents! Down & Dirty DIY Screening: Queer Sex Worker Porn

Down & Dirty DIY Screening: Queer Sex Worker Porn \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n45-60 minutes short films | English | International \n\n\n\nFollowed by 30 minutes Q&A & 10-15 minutes Performance \n\n\n\n(Total duration: 1h 45m) Tickets here \n\n\n\nRaunchy. Hot. Political. DIY. \n\n\n\nWhat happens when sex workers from across the NL and the sex industry come together over a month-long workshop to produce queer porn?  \n\n\n\nThe Down & Dirty DIY Porn Workshop was a whore-y fantasy brought to life\, sparked by this very question. Dreamed up by queer sex workers Mercy and Vivi—with their respective years-long experience in the sex industry—and in collaboration with queer.red\, Down & Dirty DIY invited aspiring\, current\, and former sex workers in Amsterdam & the NL into a month-long\, peer-to-peer\, porn skill share. As a skill share\, we wanted to engage the different knowledges of whores from across the industry\, bridge gaps in the sex worker community\, all while making our own queer fantasies realized in porn—while using DIY and accessible methods.  \n\n\n\nAnd who better than other queer sex workers to conjure up hot\, panty-dripping\, and queer-as-fuck scenes together? These series shorts will be a break from your average porn. So buckle up\, loves\, you‘re in for a ride. The screening will preview all the films made in the workshop\,  include performances\, and a Q&A with workshop facilitators & participants.

From July 22nd until July 28th\, the city will showcase queer- and transness in all its shapes and sizes\, in all its colors and shades of diversity. SUMMARY:Unsolicited Brick Pick by Cece Monroe
DESCRIPTION:A response to male sexual violence in the digital age. \n\n\n\nFriday 31 March 18:00-23:00 \n\n\n\nSaturday 1 April 12:00-22:00 \n\n\n\nSunday 2 April 12:00-20:30 \n\n\n\nFree \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf flashing your penis is an act of sexual violence\, why are unsolicited “dick pics” so ubiquitous in our society? The disconnect between the body and the image of the body leads to a disconnect between the action of sending a dick pic and the responsibility for this action. This is due\, in large part\, to the tacit social acceptability of “dick pics”\, it seems more acceptable to send a “dick pic” than to flash somebody. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nMasculinity has long been associated with penises. In this way\, sending a “dick pic” can be viewed as a display of masculinity. This displaying of masculinity is frequently done without context\, this causes the receiver of the “dick pic” to be immediately aware of their own objectification by others. Conversations opened with a “dick pic” are an immediate display of violence and objectification; analogous to having a brick thrown through your window. \n\n\n\n\n\nThrough unsolicited Brick Pic\, I explore this disconnect between the physical world and the online world. By printing the “dick pic” onto a physical object\, I bridged the divide between the two worlds: reconnecting the violence of flashing with the sending of a “dick pic” online. \n\n\n\n\n\nA brick is not just a symbol of permanence and strength but also a symbol of oppression and resistance\, especially to the queer community. “According to legend\, it was a piece of brick hurled atpolice officers outside of the Stonewall Inn that sparked the historic uprising.” Using a brick recognises the prevalence of unsolicited (1) dick pics in the queer community. Highlighting this further\, I chose to work with queer models\, all of whom spoke to me about their experiences of receiving unsolicited “dick pics”. \n(1) Smith\, R. (2020) Who threw the first brick at stonewall? A final and definitive answer to the internet’s favourite question\, PinkNews. Available at: (Accessed: November 19\, 2022).\n\n\n\n\nI hope viewers of my work walk away more aware of the subtle forms of sexual violence that are common place in our society.
